2 Timothy 3:16-17 – All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
John 17:17 – Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.
2 Peter 1:20-21 – Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.
Colossians 3:12-15 – Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
2 Peter 3:18 – Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
1 Peter 2:1-3 – So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.
Ephesians 4:15-16 – Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
Colossians 3:23-24 – Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
Titus 2:7 – And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.
2 Corinthians 8:7 – Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.
Colossians 3:17 – And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
Matthew 28:19-20 – Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
1 Peter 4:10 – God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
Acts 20:35 – And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Mark 10:45 – For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Romans 12:1-2 – And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
what we do here:
“Loving God. Loving people. Changing lives.”
Our vision is rooted in the Great Command [Matthew 22:37-40] and the Great Commission [Matthew 28:19-20]. For us, loving God motivates us to love people, which in turn changes lives.
God’s Word is the foundation of our beliefs, the standard for our actions, and the content of our teaching. All we are and do is rooted in reality as God defines it.
We want every person to experience being loved and cared for in such a way that they feel accepted, valued and have a sense of belonging.
We believe Christ followers should intentionally seek continuous spiritual growth.
We believe excellence honors God and inspires people. We continually look for ways to improve. We endeavor to bring our personal best, as often as we can, in the power of the Spirit, with a heart to please God and bless others.
We believe lost people matter to God, and therefore, they matter to the church. We want every member to be confidently sharing Christ with those within their circle of influence, who do not yet know Him.
We want to see every member developing and contributing their God-given abilities and using them to serve others.
We believe worship should be expressed in the way we live every day; we value creativity and artistic expressions of worship in our church services.
