Where she was when she chose Christ:

My family was into the concept of religion, but not into having an actual relationship with Christ. My sister became an on-fire believer and started taking me to church with her. I was eight at the time, and I accepted Christ. I went to church with my sister a lot until my teenage years. Then I began my own walk - away from the Lord. When I was in my early 30's, I chose Christ again, rededicating my life to him.

Why she chose ministry work:

I didn’t choose it, it chose me. God called me out of the fire service and into His service and it has been a great ride ever since!

Watching Him work in the lives of the people I shepherd as well as in my own life. He is working all of the time; I just love to watch Him!

What she's doing for Dayspring:

My primary responsibilities as Director of Ministries are very diverse. Building teams, teaching classes, overseeing office staff and facilities as well as making sure all ministries are working together to achieve our common goal.

Where he was when he chose Christ:

I was ten years old at WiNeMa Christian Camp near Lincoln City. I accepted Jesus as my Savior and was baptized in the lake. The ocean was too cold!

Why he chose ministry work:

Originally I thought I would go into the music business scene, but God quickly corrected me and put me in front of a youth group and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.

His favorite worship song:

The Stand by Hillsong United.

The best experience he ever had while serving the Lord:

I was able to lead a student to rededicate her life back to Jesus after turning her back on Him. It was an awesome celebration that ended in a baptism.

The best advice he ever got:

If you can dream it, God can dream it bigger.

What he's doing for Dayspring:

I am equipping students to live out their faith as lasting Christians who love Jesus and serve like Him.
